Hey Brown Girl is a growth and development event series spearheaded by LaTisha Scott. The event series gives a great emphasis on promoting positive self awareness, developmental education and motivation for young brown girls as they grow and develop during the adolescent years. Previous activations of this event series have included the “Period Party” hosted by a Shanicia Boswell founder of Black Moms Blog and “Hey Brown Girl” with featured guest Bellen of “The More Than Peach Project.  Both events captivated young brown girls to continue to nourish their physical, mental, and spiritual selves.
